ASSISTED AND INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES
	All suites have emergency call bells connected to Douglas manor and further security is provided by staff who do regular rounds. Seniors requesting more assistance with health management may consult with The Director of Care to develop a personally designed plan to meet their needs. Respite care is available at The Manor if you need intensive nursing care during a short-term illness or following surgery. THE RESIDENCE The Residence is a seven suite Heritage House located next door to Douglas Care Manor. The Residence has been completely rebuilt into bachelor and one bedroom suites, and has an elevator and ramp for easy access.
THE VALENCIA The Valencia's one and two bedroom apartments are unique as they are in a regular apartment building that is consistent with our Seniors' desire to maintain their independence while receiving added services. The buildings close proximity to The Manor easily allows staff to respond to an emergency or urgent request. The building has a centrally located elevator and ground level entrance. One bedroom apartments are approximately 650 square feet and the two bedroom apartments are approximately 775 square feet.
