SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES

The social program includes entertainment, social and recreational opportunities, exercise and special events. Companions can be arranged to assist with appointments, shopping and other activities. Every Saturday afternoon we have cocktail hour with entertainment. A non denominational church service is held every two weeks.

Birthdays are a celebration. At Douglas Care Community we make individual birthday cakes to serve to you on your special day.

ADULT DAY PROGRAM

Within our intermediate care setting we are pleased to offer a private adult day program for those who are still able to be active in their lives. A full calendar of therapeutic activities, are coordinated to offer each person with an opportunity for social interaction with the supervision of our professionally trained care staff. Outings and events are planned by our activities coordinator and reviewed continually to assure that everyone's lives and interests are met.
